This is the upstream exploration and production
(E&P) arm of the group. Its core business
is solely to explore and develop oil and gas
assets in established and emerging frontiers.
The company’s mission at inception was to
acquire, explore and develop oil and gas assets
in the emerging frontiers of West Africa and
the Gulf of Guinea, using this as a foundation
for creating a viable E&P company that can
operate in any of the global oil basins. In
its first five years of operation, the company
succeeded in establishing a firm foundation
in the West African basins with assets in:
- Tsekelewu Field in OML 40 operated by Shell Petroleum Development Company in Nigeria,
- Block 5 in the Nigeria-Sao Tome Joint Development Zone,
- OPL 332 in Deep Water Nigeria (in partnership with BG)
The company remains active in seeking additional exploration and/or producing assets globally.
