December 5, 2020.

Lagos, Nigeria.

Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.” – Elizabeth Andrew

Globally, December 5 is set aside as International Volunteer Day. This year’s commemoration is themed ‘Together we can through volunteering’. Through the International Day 2020 campaign, we are saying a big thank you to our volunteers for their selfless actions and showcase the impact of volunteering especially during the COVID-19 crisis.

Sahara staff volunteers have been crucial to the success of the Foundation’s activities this year. The support and services they offer is deeply appreciated and has ripple effects on beneficiaries across the countries of operation.

This year, staff members have put in cumulatively 2,150 man hours in supporting the works of Sahara Foundation and on this day and we appreciate the efforts of our outstanding volunteers in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, South Sudan and Cameroun- for their commitment to our vision and objectives in this unprecedented year.

Together we can achieve the desired results and change we all seek!
